حققت مدرسة الراقية الأساسية الأهلية المختلطة إنجازاً رمزياً كبيراً، بعد اعتمادها رسمياً في موسوعة غينيس للأرقام القياسية عن إنجاز أكبر قلم حبر جاف في العالم
وكان هذا القلم قد عُرض لأول مرة على هامش معرض بغداد الدولي في 9 أيلول 2025، قبل أن تبدأ مرحلة طويلة من التواصل الرسمي مع موسوعة غينيس، جرى خلالها تزويدها بجميع المتطلبات الفنية والأدلة الثبوتية اللازمة، إلى أن تم اعتماد الإنجاز رسمياً مؤخراً.
وتأتي أهمية هذا العمل ورمزيته من كونه يستحضر الإرث الحضاري العريق لوادي الرافدين؛ الأرض التي خُطَّ فيها أول حرف، وابتُكرت فيها الكتابة، ليبدأ منها فصل جديد في تاريخ البشرية. ومن هنا، جاء القلم رمزاً للعلم والمعرفة، ورسالة تؤكد أن العراق، مهد الكتابة والحضارة، ما زال قادراً على صناعة الإنجاز وإلهام الأجيال.
وقد أشرف على هذا العمل السيد يحيى، في رحلة شاقة امتدت عبر تجارب ومحاولات متعددة، حتى وصل المشروع إلى صورته النهائية، مستوفياً شرطه الأهم: أن لا يكون مجرد مجسم كبير، بل قلماً حقيقياً قابلاً للكتابة.
إن هذا الإنجاز ليس رقماً قياسياً فحسب، بل رسالة تربوية وحضارية من مدرسة الراقية، تؤمن بأن التعليم لا يقتصر على الصفوف والكتب، بل يصنع المبادرات، ويغرس الطموح، ويفتح أمام الطلبة أبواب الإبداع والتميز.
Al-Raqeia Private Coeducational Primary School has achieved a major symbolic milestone after being officially recognized by Guinness World Records for creating the largest ballpoint pen in the world, on April 30, 2026.
The pen was first displayed on the sidelines of the Baghdad International Fair on September 9, 2025, before a long phase of official communication with Guinness World Records began. During this process, all technical requirements and supporting evidence were submitted, until the achievement was officially recognized recently.
The significance and symbolism of this work lie in its evocation of the ancient civilizational heritage of Mesopotamia — the land where the first letter was written and where writing was invented, marking the beginning of a new chapter in human history. From this perspective, the pen came as a symbol of knowledge and learning, and as a message affirming that Iraq, the cradle of writing and civilization, is still capable of creating achievements and inspiring generations.
The project was supervised by Mr. Yahya, through a demanding journey that involved numerous experiments and attempts until the project reached its final form, fulfilling its most important condition: that it should not be merely a large model, but a real pen capable of writing.
This achievement is not merely a world record; it is an educational and civilizational message from Al-Raqeia School, which believes that education is not limited to classrooms and books, but also creates initiatives, nurtures ambition, and opens the doors of creativity and excellence for students.
